Course

Data Specialist (Experienced)

We maximize the potential of data gathered from a wide variety of services and quickly solve business problems with a data-driven approach. From planning and driving initiatives to developing new features and formulating medium- to long-term strategies, we aim to create value across a wide range of areas, from products to management, and turn it into impact on society.

The project and role will be decided during the selection process from among the diverse projects within the company.

Who We're Looking For

  • People with experience identifying the essential problem and leading others to solve it
  • People who can create value by understanding a project's background and purpose, rather than merely executing given requirements
  • People who care not only about their own results but also about improving the results and output quality of the entire team

You'll Be a Great Fit If You

  • Want to work with data gathered from a diverse range of services and create new value with specialized data skills—from planning and driving product improvements and developing new features to proposing medium- to long-term business strategies
  • Aspire to create new value for the business through the use of data
  • Want to leverage the Recruit Group's resources and assets to deliver results that make an impact on society
  • Have strong intellectual curiosity, a drive to explore the root cause of problems, and a desire to solve them

Roles

Please see each role's separate job posting for details.

This course covers the three roles below. Data Specialist (Entry-Level) covers five roles: these three plus data scientist and analytics engineer.

Machine Learning Engineer

You will develop applications using machine learning, and propose and drive short- and medium-term machine learning initiatives, contributing to the creation of new value across a wide range of fields.

Software Engineer (Data Applications)

You will develop systems that include data-related functions such as optimization, using software engineering, machine learning, mathematical theory, and more. You will contribute to leading the development and refactoring of technically challenging applications, such as those that handle high traffic, and to selecting languages, development environments, frameworks, and tools with a medium- to long-term view.

Data Engineer

You will design, develop, and operate the data environments essential to data-driven decision-making (such as BI dashboards, data marts, and access logs), and support the design of KPIs for businesses and products. You will also contribute to building and improving monitoring environments, developing and operating BI dashboards as client reports and business support solutions, and defining, monitoring, and maintaining data quality standards.
